A juvenile suspect was taken into custody and one is still outstanding Tuesday during a Canyon Country containment, officials said.
UPDATE: As of 3:20 p.m. deputies have lifted the containment, with one juvenile suspect still outstanding, said Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, deputies located two individuals near Camp Plenty Road and Rosamond Drive wanted in connection with two different crimes, said Sgt. Dan Peacock with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“One of the suspects is wanted for robbery,” Peacock said.
As of the publication of this article, it is unclear what crime the other suspect is wanted for, according to officials.
Deputies set up a containment in the surrounding areas to look for the two individuals, according to Sheriff’s officials.
Around 1:45 p.m., one of the suspects was located near the 27800 block of Glasser Avenue, where he was taken into custody.
It is unclear what crime the first suspect taken into custody is wanted for, Peacock said.
Deputies are still searching for the second, according to officials.

Unfortunately, because they are Juveniles they will more than likely receive a “slap on the hand” and be released back to their parents. At most, maybe 24-48 hours in Sylmar (Juvenile Hall) and some community service. But yes, nice work LASD Santa Clarita Station.
I’m glad they are doing police work instead of just looking for people making driving mistakes to give holiday citations too.
