Officials from a variety of agencies are offering a $35,000 collective reward in exchange for information leading to the apprehension and conviction of the second suspect, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Nixle news release.
An additional $1,000 reward will be presented by Crime Stoppers for the apprehension of the second suspect(s) responsible for the murders of the three victims.
At a press conference held Wednesday in Los Angeles, LASD Homicide and California Highway Patrol officials disclosed a description of the second suspect’s vehicle, which was one of two vehicles that allegedly engaged in an illegal street race on Interstate 5 in the city of Commerce, causing the multiple-vehicle traffic collision.
The vehicle is described as a newer model black or dark blue Dodge Charger with tinted windows.
The other suspected street racer, Dealio Lockhart, 35, of Whittier, was charged with three counts of second-degree murder and four counts of reckless driving in relation to the incident on March 1.
Present at the press conference were the family and friends of the victims, Michelle Littlefield, 19, and Brian Lewandowski, 18 of Santa Clarita; and Scott Treadway, 52, of Mira Loma.

Littlefield and Lewandowski were killed on their way home from Disneyland shortly after midnight on Feb. 27 when the vehicle they were traveling in, a Nissan, was struck by a UPS truck after it flipped over the median on the I-5, north of Triggs Street.
The truck, driven by Treadway, overturned and caught fire after being struck by one of two cars believed to be involved in an illegal street race, according to officials.
In addition to the three fatalities, four others were seriously injured in the crash. Two males in the Nissan were left in critical condition, and a man and woman who were in separate cars were also injured.
