An investigation is underway in Saugus following an alleged robbery Tuesday night.
At about 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, reports were received of a robbery near Lisa Gail Drive in Saugus.
“We have an ongoing investigation in the area,” said Sergeant Cox with the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station.
The suspect, said to be an 18 to 19-year-old male, reportedly fled the scene, dropping the weapon used in the alleged robbery as he did, according to officials on scene.

Units from the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station recovered the weapon, and are still in the area investigating as of 7:45 p.m.
The exact weapon used, as well as what was allegedly taken was not immediately available as of Tuesday night.
