Roughly 20% More Weekend Arrests Reported In Santa Clarita Valley

Roughly 20% more arrests were reportedly made in the Santa Clarita Valley over the weekend compared to the previous weekend, the majority of which were related to drugs or alcohol.

Between Friday, Feb. 26 and Sunday, Feb. 28, arrest records indicate that a total of 36 arrests were reported by officials from both the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and the California Highway Patrol Newhall Office.

This is up 20% when compared to the previous weekend of Feb. 19-21, when 30 arrests were reported.

Out of the 36 reported arrests over the weekend, 24, or two-thirds, were related to drugs and alcohol, with 16 reported incidents of driving under the influence (DUI), five for possession of a controlled substance, two for being under the influence of a controlled substance, and one for the transportation of narcotics.

    • You are so very welcome. We also can educate your ignorant hate-filled mind. You need something else to do; maybe a girlfriend,or a boyfriend if you’d rather. A dog? Naw, you’d abuse that too.

  3. Denny the Communist Excuser: Normal hate should come from decent humans who Love America and are disgusted the way the Liberals are ruining America! You never tell the truth/facts of above comments excused & degenerated by Liberal administrations and your ilk!! What’s your condoning/deprived allowing answers?! You want Anarchy and chaos, but Normal Patriotic Americans don’t!!

    • Just ignore Denny like the rest of us do. It’s like when a neighbor has an annoying little dog that’s yapping all the time, or when a skunk gets hit by a car and makes an awful stench- there’s nothing you can do about it but grit your teeth and drive on.
Sounds like you’re a right-minded person, Bustos- please be sure to get your signature in for the Gavin Newsom recall campaign and keep watching for the signature drive to start up to recall Gascon.
      Keep the faith.

  4. Thanks, likewise. Signed the Newsom recall last Oct. & eagerly waiting till 3/7/21 for Gas-Con! Do the deceitful Liberals really realize what they’re doing to our country?! They may like living in area code 666, we don’t!
