Deputies are investigating a Canyon Country shots fired call that occurred Thursday evening and have located shell casings but no suspects in connection with the incident, officials said.
Sometime before midnight on Thursday, deputies responded to the 27900 block of Sarabande Lane in Canyon Country regarding gunshots heard, said Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“Deputies searched the area and located casings, but were unable to locate suspects,” Miller said.
There were no reports of property damage or injuries, according to Miller.
The incident is under investigation as negligent discharge of a firearm, according to Sheriff’s officials.
