A Saugus woman, whose occupation was listed as a social media influencer, was arrested Monday on felony assault after she allegedly attempted to stab a relative with a pair of scissors, officials said.

On Monday around 1 a.m., deputies responded to a residence in the 28200 block of Rodgers Drive, Saugus, for a reported assault with a deadly weapon call, said Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“The suspect allegedly used a pair of scissors in an attempt to stab the victim, a female, 50’s,” Miller said.

The victim and suspect are related, according to Sheriff’s officials.

Deputies arrested Jade Ramos, 21, from Saugus on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon, Miller said.

Ramos was arrested and transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s jail with bail set at $50,000, according to arrest records.
