Deputies detained several stolen vehicle suspects at gunpoint at a Shell gas station in Canyon Country Monday afternoon, officials said.
Around 1 p.m. Monday, a deputy with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station began following a Nissan Sentra suspected to have been stolen, according to Lt. Doug Mohrhoff.
“A field deputy found what was a reported stolen gray Nissan,” Mohrhoff said.
Deputies then proceeded to stop the vehicle at the Shell gas station near the intersection of Via Princessa and Sierra Highway, where a total of four individuals were detained, according to officials on scene.
Two of the four individuals were arrested, while the other two were released, according to Mohrhoff.
