Deputies are investigating an assault in Castaic after a suspect allegedly pulled out a three-foot blade and threatened an individual. 

Around 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, deputies received reports of an assault with a deadly weapon call on Castaic Road regarding an assault with a deadly weapon, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. 

“Someone pulled out a three-foot blade on the informant and threatened them,” Arriaga said. 

It is unknown what led up to the suspect pulling out the blade. 

As of Tuesday afternoon, no arrests have been made, and the incident remains under investigation, according to Arriaga.
