Teenagers Assaulted After Valencia Road Rage Incident, Two Suspects Arrested

Deputies arrested two individuals Thursday afternoon after they allegedly assaulted a pair of teenagers in a Valencia road rage incident, officials said.

Around 3 p.m. Sept. 12, deputies responded to Avenue Scott and McBean Parkway for an alleged road rage assault, said Shirley Miller, a spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“The suspects reportedly became incensed after they felt another vehicle cut them off,” Miller said.

At the stoplight, the two suspects reportedly got out of their vehicle and approached the victims — a male and female both in their late teens — and allegedly assaulted them, according to Sheriff’s officials.

“Both required medical treatment,” Miller said.

Walt Dorsch, 48, of Val Verde, was arrested on charges of battery, causing great bodily injury, a felony; and Alicia Dorsch, 39, of Canyon Country, was arrested on assault with a deadly weapon charges, also a felony.

Both suspects were transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail with Walt Dorsch’s bail set at $50,000 and Alicia Dorsch’s bail set at $30,000, according to arrest records.

  1. Khts please please please do me a favor .Report the truth those Adults not teenagers picked a fight they didnt win. These teenagers were driving a black Camaro like jackasses. They also chucked food at the truck nearly causing the others to crash.

    • Clearly you are reporting details you received through word of mouth of suspects, those two are tyrants this is not their first felony to be arrested for with many more that have gone unpunished! Maybe the LASD should arrest you for your ignorance in thinking that these teens had it coming, maybe they can save some future teen from a violent attach! Walt is 50+ yrs old with kids and Alissa is in her late 40’s with kids, they should put the meth down and clean up their homeless lives

      • I can tell you this much, as I have seen a black Camaro speeding on McBean, weaving in and out of cars, cutting other cars off and racing with other cars, all in one night. Not saying it was these teens and not saying they deserved a beating but driving like morons is going to tick off the wrong person sooner or later. NO ONE should be assaulted or have a finger put on them, no less committing felonies from road rage. Having said that I hope those arrested ADULTS get their due punishment and that the teens recover from their injuries. And people….slow down, these streets are NOT freeways!!!

      • I see alicia everyday she has custody of her daughter and is working back inthe studios . You sound like a miserable tweeker stuck in that life because all you know Is the old them . Get a life lady .

  2. Bullies Hope You get paid back for your anger; I’d move out of town.

  3. Regardless of what the teenagers did, the adults should have acted like ADULTS and not committed two felonies.

Road rage is a serious offensive and if you cannot restrain yourself, then maybe you should not be driving.

  4. last night while driving home we had a group of teenagers in a truck screaming profanity at us as we drove down Valencia Rd. The male passenger in the back was screaming F@@@ you at the top of his lungs, we continued on our path home and thankfully my toddler was sleeping otherwise he would have been frightened. It’s a shame to see kids acting this way with all the road rage today I hope those guys think…what if they were unlucky and pulled that on the wrong people. Regardless the situation it’s never okay to hurt someone. I hope the victims regardless of age or what they did are okay.

  5. Funny how someone can actually put in writing that two teenage kids deserved to be beaten bloody and senseless by two ( almost) fifty year old adults… what world do you live in that violently assaulting kids is ever ok ? I work in the hospital and was one of many that treated these two kids. No one deserves to be brutally beaten because you can’t be a patient responsible driver. There is no excuse for this!

    • Please we all know that any medical professional who values their job is not going to post anything on a social media platform .And you’re saying there Both brutally beaten that’s a lie cuz if they were they still be in the hospital the female was at a wedding this weekend iand the male was able to post threats and pictures of his face on Snapchat the day of on social media and he did not look as bad as being somebody who’s brutally beaten he had a cut above his eye. So get real stop being overdramatic.

    • Lady they were not kids they were young adults above the age of 18 . The simply picked a fight and didnt win it but in turn got there asses handed to them. Secondly these people are in there 30’s and 40’s. You have no clue of what you speak kn so yo put it simply shut your mouth.

  6. If anything… the spoiled & entitled teens just crossed the wrong couple. Simple.

  7. The article clearly states they were teens. What are 2 grown ass adults doing laying hands on them, or anyone for that matter? The article also states the male offender is almost 50 years old! 50 years old and beating up teenagers!!! You claim to know all of these details but can’t even get the very basic things correct! I think you are filling in the details that better suit your friends, as they are obviously, friends, relatives or you may even be the offender ! These people were in the wrong, they became violent because they were , what, inconvenienced on the road? Whatever the case may be, you really have to put yourself in others shoes, what if this happened to your friends or family? I think you would be singing an entirely different tune! They were completely in the wrong- I hope they get prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

  8. Adults beating up teenagers is flat out wrong!

  9. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!….gasp….gasp……..HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
