Two Canyon Country Men Arrested After Allegedly Stealing Generator

Two Canyon Country men were arrested following an alleged theft of a generator on Sierra Highway, officials said.

Around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, reports of a theft on the 16000 block of Sierra Highway were received by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials.

“There were two taken into custody on charges of grand theft,” said Lieutenant Lasko with the station.

Initial reports indicate that the pair stole a generator and an air compressor, according to officials.

No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

  1. MELNARIK, as usual, poor/lack of facts—Were the thefts from a house or business? What did the 2 guys look like/where from? Any criminal history?

    • To be fair, the same report on The Signal website does not offer much more information. The Signal being a bonafide establish newspaper, where as this is a local radio station site, that tries to give updates on what is happening in our valley.
I agree the lack of information and follow-ups to stories is frustrating, but I suspect their hands are tied by information being given them by the sheriffs department for legal reasons. Wrong, right or indifferent.

  2. There are several reporters here that write like every byte of data cost them money. They apparently don’t teach the old adage about giving the Who, What, When, Where and Why in school these days. But then they send us these stories free of charge so I guess we are getting what we paid for…

  3. They’re too busy with PC cover-up & lies (not telling the truth)! We need to hear the facts/truths to be aware of who & what areas are causing the chronic problems!
