Two people were shot and killed on Saturday morning and two suspects were detained at gunpoint as a result in the Stater Brothers parking lot. 

On Saturday around 11 a.m. two people were shot on the 27300 block of Silverado Road across from Newhall Avenue, according to supervisor Martin Rangel with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. 

“No transports have been made and units remain on scene,” said Rangal. 

Officials on scene confirmed that the two victims were pronounced dead upon arrival and the area has been taped off as an official crime scene. 

The two suspects were quickly detained at gunpoint at the Stater Brothers parking lot in Newhall after being followed driving in a white mustang. 

Deputies received a call for a gunshot victim, we don’t have much information because the scene is still active, according to Deputy Mary Santra.
