Two Santa Clarita Buildings Shot At Minutes Apart, Suspects Remain At-Large

Deputies are investigating after a home and business were both struck by gun shots within minutes of each other Sunday evening.

Around 9:50 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to the 22700 block of Harmony Drive in Valencia regarding three gun shots heard outside the residence, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“Upon deputy arrival, a bullet hole was found in the wall,” Arriaga said.

While law enforcement was investigating the first shots fired call, another similar call was received by 911 dispatchers.

Around 10:20 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to the Walmart on the 27900 block of Kelly Johnson Parkway in Valencia regarding multiple shots heard, causing damage to store windows, Arriaga said.

“The investigation remains ongoing,” Arriaga said. “At this time, it cannot be confirmed whether the two incidents are related.”

The two shootings occurred less than three miles apart

As of Monday morning, both incidents remain under active investigation by the SCV Sheriff’s Station detectives, and all suspects remain at-large, according to officials.

There is no identifying suspect information, however, anyone with information or video footage pertaining to these two incidents are urged to contact the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at 661-260-4000.

  1. This stuff needs to be investigated and prosecuted. I know Gascon will kick it but we cannot let this stuff fester or it will become like the rest of LA.

  2. Where’s a good building with a gun when you need one?

  3. This liberal nonsense has got to stop. Wake up people!!!

  4. Liberal, not criminal?

    • Flo, it is the liberal voters who put these far left politicians in office. They are giving priority to the criminals, ignoring citizen’s safety. Why? It is obvious they are trying to destroy America. Please see what is happening and wake up and please vote out Gascon. Elect a Governor who supports and works along with the police and let’s them do their jobs! Save Valencia, Santa Clarita, California and America. Please, everyone who keeps voting Democrat, ask yourself whether your daily life is better, safer, under the their rule?? That’s a big, honest NO!

      • I don’t think they’re trying to destroy America.
I agree that Gascon should be out.
I won’t vote for anyone who supports Trump. I would consider a moderate Republican.

  5. Both, goes hand & hand——birds of a feather! Look at all the Liberal cities, ruined by Liberals!!

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
