Unresponsive Man Found Face Down On Town Center Drive Following Alleged Santa Clarita Fight

A man was found unresponsive Friday night in front of BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse on Town Center Drive after allegedly being “punched until unconscious.”

Around 10:30 p.m. Friday, emergency responders received reports of a medical emergency in the middle of Town Center Drive in front of BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse near McBean Parkway in Valencia, according to Jeremy Stafford, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. 

“We responded at 10:26 p.m. to a reported medical emergency,” Stafford said. “One person was transported in unknown condition.”

Witnesses on scene described seeing someone unresponsive lying in the middle of the street.

“A disturbance had occurred around the Salt Creek and BJ’s area where someone was punched and became unconscious,” according to Lt. Philips with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Department. 

As of 11 p.m. Friday, emergency responders remained on scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, according to witnesses.

The extent of the injuries sustained remain unknown to the public as of Friday night.

The intersection of McBean Parkway and Town Center Drive was temporarily blocked for an unknown duration as first responders evaluated the patient, according to witnesses. 

The identity of the man and any other information regarding how the alleged fight began has yet to be confirmed by investigators as of Friday evening.

No arrests have been made as of 11:30 p.m.

  3. Yeas race is a critical part of lives these days being a retired physical education teacher I find freedom of speech helps bring us together
