Initial reports indicate that the suspect was a 5’11” black male adult with glasses, who allegedly stole the ring using bodily force, according to officials.
After deputies reportedly found the suspect across the street at the Kohl’s on Valencia Boulevard, the man allegedly fled into the mall, prompting officials to pursue them inside.
“The suspect then reportedly went into the mall,” Miller said. “Deputies located him after a brief foot pursuit.”
Deputies had taken the suspect into custody as of 6:42 p.m. Wednesday.
