The incident was reported at about 12:20 p.m. Thursday on the 24200 block of Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia, said Sgt. Brian Hudson with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“A burglary did occur,” Hudson said. “Deputies are still on scene investigating what happened.”

Initial reports indicate that four suspects stole approximately $10,000 of merchandise, Sheriff’s officials said.

“While I was in line I heard the alarms go off near the cologne, but everyone was kind of desensitized to it,” said a witness in the store at the time of the incident. “Next thing we saw was a man beeline it through the store and out the door.

A man in an SUV in the parking lot tried blocking the suspect in but the suspects still got out, the witness said.

The suspects, described as four black male adults wearing hooded sweatshirts, fled westbound on Magic Mountain Parkway toward the 5 Freeway in a gray Honda Civic, according to Sheriff’s officials.

  1. I’m just waiting to see someone comment on why this report indicates four black male suspects. Its called a police report and in police reports there needs to be descriptions of who and what happened. IT’S NOT RASCIST

    • Sounds to me like a description. Period.
Nothing more, nothing less. Relax, Travis.
And yes! Beware the grammar checkers-
      they’re everywhere.

  2. My apologies I fat fingered that I meant Racist. We have grammar checkers on here

  3. Unfortunately Denny people these days do not know the definition of racism . This is not the first time these four suspects have robbed a store in our valley. In fact this is the third time from what our Sheriffs department has told us. The last two times when these robberies were reported we had people commenting on how upset they were that Four Black Males were in the description for the Police report. People felt that was racist to single them out.

    English Dictionary

    Racists:
A person who shows or feels discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or who believes that a particular race is superior to another

    Urban Dictionary 2019:
In todays world this is what makes you racist: Mentioning race in any way

    • I’ll give you a perfect example of racism, Travis. Look no further than the cult rally in South Carolina several days ago when the crowd chanted “Send her back” about Ilhan Omar, a naturalized citizen of the United States and a member of congress. Trump did nothing to stop it, but savored it for a full 13 seconds until it died down before he started speaking again. That is racism.
Go online and look at videos of Hitler’s rallies and the crowd reaction. Tell me what differences you see other than language and attire.

      • Oh lord cult my ass. Better toughin up Denny . The Left is so far off their hinges they are the reason Trump will win in 2020. You seem to have a hard on for me . Sorry but you’re my type. Try selling your hippy crap some where else.

  4. Does anyone really care what race or color they were? The fact is that stores are getting robbed in broad daylight by some very gutsy people and they are not caught yet! Three or four times? In our little peaceful bubble? We, as consumers, need to be aware that we could be in the same store at the same time as these thieves. Keep your eyes open, pay attention to descriptions, clothing, movements as much as you can. Let’s help our law enforcement get these jerks. This is ridiculous.

  5. I won’t comment on the race issue being discussed. What makes me suspicious is four guys wearing hooded sweatshirts in this heat!

  6. In fact, this schizophrenia natural remedy would possibly reverse common facet consequences associated with antipsychotic medicines together with weight benefit and insulin resistance. It might sound loopy; however I’m speaking approximately the ketogenic weight loss plan for schizophrenia.

  7. Air Impact wrenches are the Mack-Daddy of wrenches.

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
