Valencia Woman Found Dead In Vehicle Near Granary Square

A Valencia woman was found deceased in a vehicle early Wednesday morning.

Around 1:35 a.m. Wednesday, first responders received reports of a person unresponsive in the Granary Square Ralphs parking lot on the 25900 block of Mcbean Parkway in Valencia, said Craig Little, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“There was a white SUV with an unresponsive patient,” Little said.

Officials on scene pronounced Aurora Camarillo de Real, 49, from Valencia dead on arrival.

Officials with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau confirmed that they have not been requested to investigate the death as of Thursday afternoon.

This is the third person to be found deceased in a vehicle within the City of Santa Clarita in the month of August.

The cause of Camarillo de Real’s death is unknown as of Thursday.

  1. 3 deaths – I’m going with overdoses

  2. People are dieing in their cars because the traffic lights are not synchronized.

    • Big oil is behind the traffic lights, the more we sit idling the more fuel we use. California $2.00 a gallon more than other states cause they can.

      • That may be, in some way true, but the geriatric grannies Marsha and Laureen (the cross-eyed one) historically veto traffic light synchronization because they WANT YOU TO WORK HERE, regardless of your job, Career, needs and ambitions. They keep pushing rapid development of every possible space and expect us to work at Starbucks or Jim Bob’s or McD’s.

      • Big oil companies also own many green companies. It’s not big oil controlling traffic control as if sitting a traffic light for a minute uses that much gas. Our huge gas prices is because of the environmentalists who demand special formulas for CA plus our Blue state and county loves to tax us.

  3. When will Louie Diaz Learn the difference between “dead on arrival” and “dead at the scene”?

    • That’s a dead issue. KHTS reporters are limited to paraphrasing press releases or scanner traffic. If you expect exacting local news try the Signal (hahaha).

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
