A wanted man was arrested after he was allegedly trespassing in Canyon Country and for his warrants.
On Friday, deputies patrolling the 20600 block of Golden Triangle Road in Canyon Country contacted a male in a no trespassing area, said Deputy Natalie Arriraga, spokesperson with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“During investigation, deputies learned the male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest,” Arriaga said.
Deputies conducted a search of the suspect where they recovered a California ID and credit card not named to the suspect, Arriaga said.
This prompted deputies to search the suspects vehicle where they located multiple additional credit cards, along with other items not named to the suspect, Arriaga added.
Taylor Vega, 42, transient of Canyon Country , was arrested for possession of personal identifying information, possession of access card with intent to defraud and trespassing.
Vega was booked into the SCV Sheriff’s Station with a bail amount of $100,000 and remains in custody as of Monday afternoon.
