SCVi/iLEAD is continuing to provide free meals to Santa Clarita Valley children on weekdays through its participation in the USDA Summer Meal Program.

Now through August 21, children 1-18 years old are eligible for free breakfast and lunch in a “grab-and-go” capacity, with no need to be enrolled in SCVi Charter School in Santa Clarita, according to the website. 

Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., breakfast and lunch can be picked up together at SCVi, located at 28060 Hasley Canyon Road in Castaic, with face coverings required. 

In order to have minimal contact between staff and participants during the process, families are asked to pull up in front of the SCVi Cafe to have meals brought out.

Staff are set to leave the meals on a cart, with program participants able to load their meals into their car themselves. 

Because of a higher demand for meals on weekends, Friday meals may be picked up on Thursdays, and Saturday/Sunday meals may be picked up on Fridays.
