197 Bowman High School students became 2020 graduates Monday morning in Central Park as they were awarded their diplomas individually.

“During these difficult times we’re so pleased and proud of our grads,” said Bowman Principal Eran Zeevi. “They persevered and had so much resiliency for this year and they made it as Bowman graduates.”

Each student was driven through Central Park, exited their vehicle and was awarded their diploma one by one to keep a safe distance.

Principal Zeevi prides the school on its ability to create worthwhile relationships with its students, and to offer support.

“I think because of those relationships we are able to connect with our kids, even offline, and really make this happen for them in giving them the right support so that they could get through this and graduate,” Zeevi said.

Bowman’s vision is to forge strong, positive connections with students to achieve independence, build confidence, and gain academic knowledge. Bowman aims to provide students with a variety of opportunities to learn, grow and thrive.

“Our students come in different than when they leave because they leave with so much motivation, direction and confidence,” Zeevi added. “We really work hard on that with our kids and we could not be prouder with the graduating class of 2020.”
