Golden Valley High Celebrates Over 500 Seniors In Drive-Thru Graduation

Over 500 seniors from Golden Valley High School’s class of 2020 celebrated the end of their high school years with a drive-thru graduation ceremony at Central Park Monday.

As traditional graduations were postponed or outright cancelled across the country, officials with the William S. Hart Union High School District organized a series of drive-thru celebrations to honor the class of 2020 at all of the district’s high schools.

Monday marked Golden Valley High School’s ceremony, which featured 502 graduates from the school.

Later on, a large portion of the class of 2020 gathered at Central Park to toss their graduation caps into the air.

“You guys have a great amount of potential,” one of the graduating seniors told the assembled crowd. “Don’t limit yourselves on what anybody else tells you, and don’t ever settle for less than what you know your self worth is.”
