Henry Mowry, known as Mr. M, began carpentry in 1974 as a freshman in college. Working for the University of Missouri’s theater division, Mr. M found his energy for carpentry. Throughout the years he has significantly sharpened his abilities and in 2014 he sold his first cutting board. Presently he’s making cutting boards, cheese boards and engraved boards for clients from his woodshop in Valencia.
There are many choices for customers from size to what type of wood you want your cutting board made from. Those choices that “ Mr. M uses only high-quality hardwood sourced from around the world. Some popular choices wood include: ash, cherry, mahogany and walnut. A variety of sizes are offered. Cheese boards are 8″ x 10″ x 3/4″ up to 12″ x 19″ x 1-1/2″. Small boards are very versatile and are 8″ x 10″ x 3/4″ up to 12″ x 12″ x 1-1/2″.
Cutting boards are typically 12″ x 12″ x 1-1/4″ up to 16″ x 24″ x 1-1/2″ and even beyond.”Mr. M offers an extensive variety of style, made to request, or check out his stock of pre-made sheets. Stripes, checkerboard, or solid patterns are some of your options. Engraving is offered to give sheets that exceptional touch. Whatever the wood customization you want, there is a board for you.
