Collecting Cans & Donations for those in need in the SCV Community
December 9, 2020 – RiverVillage meet at Duane Harte Park @ 6:30pm departing around 7pm
December 10, 2020 – Northbridge meet at Real Life Church @ 6:30pm departing around 7pm
Where will all the donations go?
All canned/dry goods will go to Santa Clarita Grocery and cash donations will go to SCV Family Promise.
Are we walking this year?
No, this year we will be in our cars with windows down caroling.
How will we hear the Music?
Gracie’s Caroling Playlist has been shared with our Title Sponsor – KHTS Radio. They will be playing her favorite caroling songs LIVE from 7pm – 9pm.
For those participating in the parade, you will be able to tune your car radio to KHTS 98.1FM or AM1220, and/or stream it live via the KHTS Live Streaming App. You can download their Live Streaming App here.
Should we decorate our cars?
We would love for you to decorate your car to bring extra holiday cheer!
Will there be prizes for best decorated?
Yes, everyone will receive GracieStrong merch for participating and we’ll have gift cards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. We’re looking for decorated cars that just make you smile and make you lol! #itsagraciething
Will there still be a trailer?
Yes, we will still have 2 trucks pulling trailers that will be decorated and we will have Santa and his helpers collecting cans/donations.
How will we collect cans this year?
We will ask everyone to leave their cans in a bag/box at the end of their driveway(curbside pick-up)
How will the neighborhood know we’re coming?
We will post several times on social media and will also place signs throughout the neighborhood the morning of to remind them that we’ll be caroling between 6-8pm.
Will there be Starbucks hot cocoa and cookies before we start?
Yes, we wouldn’t leave the most important detail out! We will have tables set up to help yourselves to everything. Please keep in mind social distancing and please wear your mask when you’re not in your car so we keep everyone safe.
How do I get involved?
If you’d like to go caroling, please text Angie @ 661-592-9301 ASAP! Give her your name, date/dates you’ll be caroling and how many in your car.
You can also get involved by donating cans and dropping them off in a box on my front porch @ 22514 Brightwood Place anytime now through 12/22,
