What: Join us Sunday, May 2, 2021 for a Drive Thru Taste of the Town At Child & Family Center, 21545 Centre Pointe Pkwy, Santa Clarita

Taste of the Town will look a little different this year, since your favorite restaurants or breweries won’t be present. But the funds raised are more important than ever. The restaurants, caterers, breweries and wineries that have supported the event year after year have taken a big hit this past year. Now is our chance to give back to them and also support Child & Family Center!

Virtual Foster Care And Adoption Orientation

What: Children’s Bureau Offering Virtual Orientations (Santa Clarita, CA) Children’s Bureau is now offering two virtual ways for individuals and/or couples to learn how to help children in foster care while reunifying with birth families or how to provide legal permanency by adoption.

A live Zoom Orientation is scheduled on April 15th from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM hosted by a Children’s Bureau team member and a foster parent. For those who want to learn at their own pace about becoming a foster and/or fost-adopt parent, an online orientation presentation is available.

What:  The Virtual Focused Job Fairs are a great way to connect with business representatives from the Healthcare, Professional Services, Hospitality, Applied Technology and Education industries. They’re looking to fill positions now or in the near future.

Each employer will be available during a two-hour time frame to connect with you individually. This will be similar to standing in line at a job fair.
