What: It’s the Red Hot Chilli Pipers (NOT the Peppers!), an internationally renowned nine-piece ensemble consisting of pipers, guitarists, keyboards and drummers who have been rocking the world with musicianship of the highest order and a passion for pipes that will leave you breathless. Their trademark sound includes traditional pipe tunes and contemporary anthems such as Queen’s “We Will Rock You” and “Clocks” by Coldplay, as well as a rock medley of “Deep Purple,” “Smoke on the Water” and more.
Sierra Pelona Valley AVA Wine Festival at Reyes Winery

What: The wine festival features local winemakers from the Santa Clarita Valley to the Antelope Valley offering tastings of their best wines, plus cider, craft breweries and spirits. What: Enjoy beer-battered cod served with coleslaw and a choice of French fries, rice pilaf or beans. Fish tacos are also available and served with rice and beans. The price is $11 for a two-piece dinner or the two-fish taco plate, or $12 for a three-piece dinner. Cash and credit cards are accepted. All proceeds benefit local charities and families in need.

When considering juvenile cognitive development and ability, is incarcerating children in adult facilities really the most appropriate response to their “bad” behavior? What has gone wrong with our juvenile justice system, and how did we get here? This is a free event.
