What: Volunteers will pick up trash and debris from their yards or on sidewalks, paseos and trails to help maintain a clean space while helping to preserve the environment and practice stewardship! All participants need to pre-register at SantaClaritaVolunteers.com and pick up trash bags at one of eight locations throughout the community.  This event includes a green scavenger hunt and raffle opportunities, giveaways and a drought-free plant for participants (while supplies last).

What: Zonta invites you for our local presentation of the traveling film festival by and about women. Almost two decades ago, LUNA saw that women were painfully underrepresented in film. So in 2001 they created the first all-women traveling film festival. Since their initial event, they have opened opportunities for more than 150 women filmmakers, putting them in the spotlight. And as Kit Crawford, founder & co-CEO insists, “telling stories that have to be told.’ Each year this unique platform travels to close to 200 cities, raising funds for local women’s causes. Let’s flip the script on equality. Someday women will have an equal stage. Someday is now. Join us for a “pop-up” portable drive-in film event. 100% of this event’s proceeds will go to Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley for our programs and community projects.
