Advanced Audiology is holding a holiday special where the cost of hearing aids is being discounted $1,000, according to Santa Clarita Audiologist Nola Aronson.

“I want everybody to be able to hear for the holidays,” Aronson said. 

A common frustration from loved ones during holiday gatherings is that a relative with hearing loss is unable to participate in the conversation, according to Aronson.

“You have all your grandkids over or all your children, and then the whole family is sitting around and they’re all having a great conversation, and you’re sitting there going, ‘Oh, I wish I didn’t have to be here,’” Aronson said. “That’s very sad… I don’t want anybody to feel left out this holiday season.” 

While some potentially misleading hearing aid specials will list a discounted price using the manufacturer’s suggested retail price instead of the “everyday price,” Aronson noted that her holiday special has no such fine print. 

“We’re going to take $1,000 off of our everyday price,” she said. “So you could get a pair of hearing aids from us for as low as $2,000 for the pair.”

In addition, depending on the technology level, Advanced Audiology’s hearing aid prices are bundled to include years of service that are necessary to keep the devices working optimally, such as cleanings and adjustments. 

“Know that when you’re given a price, it’s not just the cost of the hearing aid — it’s the cost of service over many years,” Aronson said. “Hearing aids have a lifetime of seven years; they can be repaired for seven years. So I always use this comparison… It’s less than a cup of Starbucks coffee a day. And what is your hearing worth to you?”
