Nola Aronson from Advanced Audiology sponsored a whopping four events in the Santa Clarita community during a 30-day timespan this summer, including three fundraisers and an awards gala.

“Advanced Audiology has taken on a role to be more involved in our community,” Aronson said in an earlier interview with KHTS. “Our community is very philanthropic … and we love helping other people.”

First, Aronson showed her support for a nonprofit close to her heart with Advanced Audiology’s sponsorship of the Circle of Hope Vine 2 Wine fundraiser on August 11. The organization offers assistance to cancer patients in the Santa Clarita Valley, and Aronson is not only a board member, but an 18-year breast cancer survivor.

Then on August 24, Aronson continued to give back to the community in Advanced Audiology’s name by sponsoring Dancing With Our Stars 2018, which benefits more than a dozen Santa Clarita nonprofits through one mega-fundraising event.

The momentum continued for Aronson the weekend of Sept. 8-9, when Advanced Audiology sponsored both the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center’s annual Motown in Town fundraiser, in addition to the Latino Business Alliance Hispanic Heritage and Awards Gala, “We Are One.”

At this year’s gala event, Aronson was recognized with the “Special Achievement” award for her contributions to the community, which she called “an honor.”

Aronson and the team at Advanced Audiology have actively supported a number of local nonprofits in the three decades the office has been established in Santa Clarita, sponsoring countless fundraisers and community events over the years in an effort to help those in need.

In addition, Aronson offers free hearing screenings in Santa Clarita to the community, and donates a portion of proceeds from hearing aid sales at Advanced Audiology to a variety of local nonprofits as well.

“My mission has been to not only help people hear better, but to donate 10 percent of my hearing aid proceeds to different nonprofits that I believe in,” Aronson said. “So when you get a hearing aid from our office, Advanced Audiology, you not only hear better, but you get to give back to your community also.”

She continued, “When you are thinking of where to entrust your hearing needs, wouldn’t you feel better going to a place that gives back and supports their community?”

Advanced Audiology was founded in 2010 by Santa Clarita audiologist Nola Aronson, who has been fitting hearing aids, doing hearing test exams and offering hearing aid repairs for more than 30 years.
