An Orthodontist in Santa Clarita is explaining some of the advantages a two-phase treatment can have for your child.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children should visit an orthodontist, no later than 7 years old, at the first sign of an orthodontic problem.

Although early treatment isn’t always necessary, this Phase 1 treatment, also known as interceptive treatment, allows certain results by using less invasive methods while the child is still growing instead of after they are older.
