Santa Clarita audiologist Nola Aronson of Advanced Audiology is set to hold an open house event on Feb. 19, as well as sponsor several upcoming nonprofit fundraisers in the community.

By appointment only, the open house will give residents the chance to try out the latest hearing devices available, free of charge.

“We fill up fast because people want to see what this new technology is like,” Aronson said.

In addition, those who visit Advanced Audiology for a free hearing screening and mention that they heard about it on “The Senior Hour” on KHTS Radio can receive a free three-day, two-night vacation package, according to Aronson.

An active member of the community, Aronson donates a portion of her proceeds from hearing device sales to nonprofit organizations in the Santa Clarita Valley.

“When you buy a hearing device from us, we not only help you to hear better, but we take 10 percent of our hearing aid proceeds and we give it back to our community,” Aronson said. “So actually you are also giving back to your community.”

In the same spirit, Aronson also supports the community by sponsoring countless nonprofit fundraisers, and is title sponsor of the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center’s sold out “Greatest Show in the SCV” Celebrity Waiter Dinner set for Feb. 23.

“This new Senior Center that we’re getting is so amazing and it’s so exciting,” Aronson said. “I can’t wait for it to open, but we still do need to raise a little bit more money.”

Additionally, Advanced Audiology is a platinum sponsor for Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley’s “The Wine Affair” slated for March 24.

“This year we’re going to have it on Main Street (in Newhall) because we have a lot of new restaurants, a lot of new wineries, beer places, wonderful new places around here, and (we) thought everybody should enjoy that,” Aronson said. “So you come out and you sip, stroll and eat, and listen to music.”

Aronson encouraged residents who have never been to the Advanced Audiology office to make an appointment for a visit and a free hearing screening.

“Coming to our office is more like coming home to a family,” she said. “Our waiting room is a living room. You get to have treats and coffees and teas and all kinds of things, so don’t be a stranger. Come visit us.”
