Oakmont of Valencia, a Santa Clarita senior living facility, is hosting “social distancing dining events,” with some Oakmont locations also facilitating physically-distanced outdoor visits with loved ones.

As part of their normal programming, the Santa Clarita senior living facility offers “industry renowned dining and endless on-site amenities” including “a day spa, private movie theater, resident gardens and lovely grounds,” officials from Oakmont of Santa Clarita said. However, since the coronavirus pandemic began, many of these services were suspended for safety reasons.

As the “Safer at Home” guidelines are being slowly lifted, residents have begun returning to modified, “social distancing” versions of these services.

Oakmont officials announced a series of “social distancing dining events” for senior residents in the upcoming weeks. These themed events will include the “Father’s Day Car Show, Oakmont Pride & Proud and the July 4th Celebration BBQ.”

Additionally, the Santa Clarita senior living facility has provided residents with “new personal folding tables” so that next-door neighbors can partake in socially-distanced dining together while enjoying “delicious food, fun and sunshine.”

Officials have also announced that family visits may once again be scheduled at some Oakmont locations.

“Communities have started scheduling and coordinating supervised outdoor visits for residents and family members,” officials from Oakmont announced. “Please note that each community’s ability to outdoor visits depends on local conditions and regulations. Contact your community’s executive director for more information.”

Oakmont offers two convenient locations for the Santa Clarita and Valencia areas, both of which feature expert staff and quality services to keep seniors engaged and fulfilled.

“Daily tasks and quality of life are improved with access to our full-time concierge, health & fitness programs, world-class chefs and even chauffeur service,” officials said.

Pets are also welcome at Oakmont. At the Santa Clarita senior living facility’s dedicated pet park, residents and their pets can enjoy the lush grounds together.
