Santa Clarita Teen Battling Disease Finds Relief With PEMF Therapy At Mend Cryotherapy(VIDEO)

Mend Cryotherapy in Santa Clarita is offering PEMF Therapy to Santa Clarita residents with chronic pain and other health related issues.

According to researchers behind the machines, PEMF, or Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy uses very large electromagnetic jolts for a few billionths of a second, which enables them to slip past a cell’s exterior and shock the vital structures within without injuring the live tissue.

The pulsed therapy and its abilities are complex and varied. So far at Mend, clients have reportedly found a large spectrum of relief from the bed, including pain relief.

“All my pain in my mid back and para forma  are gone after only two short visits,” said Mend client Jeri Seratti Goldman.

Local Santa Clarita Valley resident, Sebastian Velona, is a 16 year old who has been fighting Batten Disease his entire life, and is finding much relief from the PEMF Therapy at Mend Cryotherapy.

Batten disease is a rare, fatal genetic condition that typically begins in childhood. It is a form of a group of neurological disorder, according to Project Sebastian. Early signs can be vision changes, seizures, clumsiness, or behavior changes. With time, neurological deficits worsen, and the individual loses sight and motor skills. Cognitive abilities decline and dementia develops with time. The disease is often fatal by the teens or twenties.

Sebastian has been coming to Mend to use their PEMF Therapy bed three times a week for about a month, and has seen a big change in his pain management. After each session, he tells Mend employees and his family that his pain is gone.

Researchers report that they believe this kind of technology will eventually be able to heal wounds, completely obliterate tumors and killing bacteria.
