Hometown Heroes On The Ballot

Nominate your own Hometown Heroes!

The Santa Clarita District of the American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles, in partnership with KHTS-1220am radio station, the Santa Clarita Valley’s hometown radio station, asks you to nominate your Hometown Hero!

Hometown Heroes are people who have displayed heroic or humanitarian actions in the community — people whose compassionate, caring and charitable actions exemplify the true spirit of the American Red Cross — people we all know across the Santa Clarita Valley!

All nominees will receive special recognition, and one winner in each category will be chosen and awarded at the Hometown Heroes breakfast, on Tuesday, September 11th at 7:00am at the Hyatt. 

Suggested categories for nominations:
First Responders
Youth (through 17)
Adult (18 to 59)
Animal
Educator (classroom)
Medical
Workplace
Military
Youth Sports Mentor
            Senior (60 plus)

Qualifying recognition period is June 1, 2006 through May 31, 2007.  Nomination deadline is June 15, 2007.
