Part Three: Cranberry Sauce

Total Time: 27 minutes (Prep – 5 min, Cook – 22 min)

Yields: 6 servings

Ingredients:

12 oz fresh cranberries

1 cup sugar

1/4 orange

1 tablespoon water

Dash of cinnamon

Walnuts (if desired)

Directions:

Peel orange, cut into quarters. Tear single quarter into small chunks.

Place cranberries in a large pot; add sugar, water, and orange.

Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally until sugar dissolves and cranberries are soft, about 10 minutes.

Increase heat to medium until cranberries burst, about 12 minutes. Remove from heat and place in serving dish. Add sugar to taste, a dash of cinnamon, and walnuts, if desired.
