A transformer exploded in a backyard in the 26600 block of Cabaletta Drive in Saugus, causing a fire at that location and a significant power outage in the area, as well as into the Northbridge tract across Bouquet Canyon Road. UPDATED Friday, 4 p.m. Shortly before 1 p.m. two cars collided near Hall Road, West of Fillmore.
