Garcia Calls For Release Of Information About COVID Origins

Representative Mike Garcia, R-Santa Clarita, is calling for the release of information about the origins of the coronavirus.

In a speech on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives yesterday, representative Mike Garcia spoke in support of a bill that would require the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) to declassify information about the origins of the coronavirus.

The bill, called S.619, would command the ODNI to reveal any information about potential links between the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the origin of COVID-19.

“By declassifying this information, we have a chance to ensure the seven million people who died of COVID are honored correctly,” Garcia said. “This is a chance to hold China accountable for COVID and seek Justice and a reckoning. And perhaps most importantly, a chance to prevent another man-made pandemic such as this from wreaking havoc on the planet again.”

S.619 was passed by the U.S. Senate on March 1. It still needs to be approved by the House of Representatives.

“I think it’s shameful that some have politicized this issue,” Garcia said. “This isn’t political at all. Declassifying this information is simply the right thing to do.”

The bill is sponsored by Republican Senator Josh Hawley, who represents Missouri.

  1. We’ve known from the beginning where Covid came from——the Liberals covered up the truth! If we don’t tell the truth from the start of something, we can’t fix it! It affects everyone!

  2. “Reckoning,” is an interesting word choice, Mr. Garcia.

About Carl Goldman

Carl Goldman, along with his wife, Jeri repurchased KHTS AM-1220, Santa Clarita’s hometown station on October 24, 2003. They owned it from 1990-1998, and then sold it to Clear Channel Communication in 1998, buying it back from Clear Channel in 2003. Since then, they have rebuilt KHTS as a critical voice of the Valley. In 2015 the radio station moved to its new headquarters on Main Street in Old Town Newhall, in the original Newhall Hardware building. In 2018 an FM was added, 98.1, with its signal being simulcast with AM-1220. In January 2020, Carl and Jeri cruised on the Diamond Princess. Carl was one of the first Americans to come down with Covid-19. Months earlier he was impacted by Guillain Barre Syndrome as a result of a Shingles vaccine in September 2019. He is still in recovery from the vaccine.
