On Wednesday, the Recall DA George Gascón campaign is set to be joined by co-chairs, volunteers and supporters to submit around 566,857 signatures to the Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters.

“The people of Los Angeles have spoken in a resounding way, with hundreds of thousands of residents adding their names to the recall petition and 37 cities voting no confidence in their District Attorney,” said officials with the recall campaign.

Among the cities that have voted no confidence, Santa Clarita City Council and SCV Chamber of Commerce are among 37 other communities. 

A large moving truck filled with petitions is set to be driven to the County Registrar for unloading around 2 p.m Wednesday.

“The sheer magnitude of this effort, and time and investment required to get to this point show how strong the public desire is to remove George Gascón from office,” said the campaign
