Recall Gascón Campaign Submits Over 700,000 Signatures To County Registrar

The Recall D.A. George Gascón Campaign submit over 700,000 signatures to the L.A. County Registrar of Voters on Wednesday, more than enough to qualify the recall for the November ballot.

Recall Gascón campaign officials announced Wednesday that they had plans to submit 717,000 signatures to the Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters.

Only 566,857 valid signatures are required to qualify the recall, according to campaign officials.

“The people of Los Angeles have spoken in a resounding way, with hundreds of thousands of residents adding their names to the recall petition and 37 cities voting no confidence in their District Attorney,” read a Wednesday statement.  “The sheer magnitude of this effort, and time and investment required to get to this point, show how strong the public desire is to remove George Gascon from office.  From day one, this recall has been led by the very victims who Gascon has abandoned, ignored, and dismissed.  When the recall qualifies, he will not be able to ignore them any longer.”

Recall Gascón Movement In SCV

Thirty-seven cities and countless community organizations have made vots of no-confidence against Gascon in recent months with the Santa Clarita City Council and SCV Chamber of Commerce among the first to make their voices known.

“The sheer magnitude of this effort, and time and investment required to get to this point show how strong the public desire is to remove George Gascón from office,” Campaign officials said.

  1. Hopefully this time he will be out
I hope u take a trip to a different planet
Dirty baster go get another job we don’t need you

  2. He has always sounded like a Defense Attorney, on Law & Order, that is about to lose a crack-pot defense case at the top of the hour, when the episode ends.
    I signed. I will vote.

  3. If it doesn’t happen this time an independent investigation should be done. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Yes I’m referring to the person in the paid advertisement

  4. Thanks to all the people with common sense that signed the recall petition. The next step is to remove this moron from office. People need to WAKE UP and vote all the Soros funded officials out of office. Criminals need to be arrested and DA’s need to prosecute them and a return to safety needs to happen with full support of law enforcement once again.

  5. Well, look what happened with the Newsom recall. Fraud election again.
