‘Unhealthy’ Santa Clarita Air Quality Advisory In Effect Tuesday

An advisory for “unhealthy” Santa Clarita air quality is in effect for Tuesday, officials said.

An Air Quality Advisory was issued by the County of Los Angeles Public Health based on a South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) forecast.

“Air quality will be unhealthy for sensitive individuals tomorrow, Tuesday June 23, in the Santa Clarita Valley,” reads the advisory.

Los Angeles County Health Officer, Muntu Davis, MD, MPH, advises people living or working in these areas with heart disease, asthma or other respiratory diseases to minimize outdoor activities.

Children who have sensitive conditions, including heart disease, asthma and other chronic respiratory diseases, should not participate in outdoor physical activity and should stay indoors as much as possible.

While the advisory was issued for Tuesday, Monday’s recent Air Quality Index levels are also designated as unhealthy by the AQMD.

  1. What about BLM. Shurley we can get over this temporary problem both the air quality and the BLM. Maybe the BLM protesters should stay inside, so their poor little bodies shouldn’t suffer. They should sue the state of california for unhealthy air quality. Thanks gas tax, that nobody voted for. Maybe an increase on vehicle registration will help the cause. Please help me restore my first admendant right so not to erase history in the United States of America. Stand for the national anthem. Cowards, Maybe we should designate a personal time for your cause or do without our national anthem. I have to respect those who take a knee because as see it at least they are outing themselves as the bad on in million cops.
