“We would like to show our appreciation for the tremendous amount of fan support we receive each season by inviting the community to come out and experience Cougar football,” said COC head football coach Ted Iacenda.
Last weekend the Cougars defeated conference opponent Pasadena City College 28-24 in a thrilling come-from-behind road victory.
In addition, COC sophomore linebacker COC linebacker Paul Puebla has been named the Southern California Football Association Northern League Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Pasadena in week four. Puebla finished the contest with nine tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and an interception — a pick-six touchdown with 3:35 to play in the fourth quarter to give Canyons the win.
