Valencia’s season comes to a close after 11th straight Foothill League title and another first round exit in the playoffs. The same problem that plagued the Vikings in its previous three losses, came up tonight: inability to perform on offense.

5 Hart (7-4): 34

Final

Zach Johnson threw for four touchdown passes, as the Hart offense came alive in the second half, scoring 28 of their 34 points after the break.

The Indians advance to take on No. 4 San Juan Hills (8-3) next Friday.

Quartz Hill (5-6): 6

4 West Ranch (9-2): 35

Final

West Ranch advances to the 2nd Round for the second consecutive year by blowing out Quartz Hill in a rare home game at Canyon High School.

Next up for the Wildcats is a date with No. 2 Wilson (Long Beach) in the second round in a battle of Division 7 top five teams.

Final

The Cowboys scored the first points of the game and led 7-6 late in the first half, before stumbling to the finish line in a loss to the top seeded team in Division 7.

Final

The playoffs ended for Trinity in a loss to South Torrance as they struggled to get anything going offensively all game against the Spartans.
