Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers flair for the dramatics rages on after Monday’s extra innings thriller in Pittsburgh. Even through eleven innings, up to bat went Yasiel Puig, fresh off of his walk-off double last week at Dodger Stadium.

And Puig delivered again, launching a solo homer 412 feet to center, his 22nd of the season to give the Dodgers a 6-5 lead. Ross Stripling shut the door in the bottom of the twelfth inning to preserve the 6-5 victory, the Dodgers 88th of the season. At 88-35, Los Angeles has an identical record to the 2001 Seattle Mariners who set the mark in the Live Ball Era with 116.

Curtis Granderson is making his presence felt in the Dodgers lineup, homering in back-to-back games, including a grand slam Monday against the Pirates.

Tuesday, Brock Stewart makes the spot start at PNC Park against Jameson Tallion. First pitch is at 4:05, and you can catch every inning of Dodgers baseball live on KHTS.
