Chatsworth: 58

Back-to-back 20+ point victories for the Centurions get them into the Consolation Final today against Thousand Oaks. Tipoff is at 2:30 at Kennedy HS.

Grant: 45

Valencia (4-4): 82

Vikings shrug off loss to Crescenta Valley to dominate Grant and set up their final game of the tournament against Heritage Christian at 4:00.

Lawndale Tournament

2 Saugus (9-1): 72

Lawndale: 24

Saugus picked up its eighth straight win in the opening game of the Lawndale Tournament behind Libbie McMahan’s double double (20 points, 10 rebounds). The Centurions play Centennial today at 4:30.

Canyon (4-2) vs Clovis

Harvard-Westlake Holiday Tournament

Valencia (5-5) vs Bishop Montgomery

A wild second half with five goals in the second 40 minutes. The Centurions have won three straight (+5 goal differential during the streak).

Girls Soccer

Canyon (2-1-1): 8

Lancaster: 2

Eight different Cowboys got on the score sheet in yesterday’s big home win over Lancaster. Canyon has won two in a row, with undefeated Camarillo up next on the road Thursday.

West Ranch (4-3): 5

Immaculate Heart: 0

Wildcats complete the home-and-home sweep to move over .500 before a two week layoff. They’ll play Highland at home on January 4 ahead of Foothill League play beginning.

Ventura vs Valencia (2-0-4) at 5:00

TMU Basketball

The Mustangs finished the Cactus Classic 3-0 and are riding an 11-game winning streak after taking down No. 17 Montana Western 108-95. At 12-1, the Mustangs are one win better than last season’s pace at this point in the season, and now have Christmas break before opening Westmont Tournament play next Friday (12/29) against Antelope Valley.
