The Santa Clarita Christian girls beat La Sierra in four games in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

Abigail Walker had eight kills for Santa Clarita Christian.

They will play Calvary Murrieta on the road in the semifinals tonight.

In high school cross country, four teams from the Foothill League qualified for the CIF Southern Section finals.

The Saugus boys and girls teams are in after winning their heat races at the Southern Section Division 2 preliminaries.

The West Ranch boys move into the finals after finishing in fourth place in their Division 2 preliminary race.

The Canyon girls were fourth in their Division 2 heat race.

The Southern Section finals are at Mt. San Antonio College on Saturday.

In college soccer, The Master’s College men lost to Vanguard University, 2-0, in the championship game of the Golden State Athletic Conference tournament.

The Mustangs finish with an 11-9-1 record.

In college football, the College of the Canyons lost its regular season finale, 27-21, to Cerritos College.

In high school soccer, the Hart girls are ranked No. 1 in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 preseason poll.

The Santa Clarita Christian girls are ranked No. 6 in the Southern Section Division 6 preseason poll.

In the NBA, the Clippers lost to the Chicago Bulls, 105-98. The Clippers dropped to 5-4. They play the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night.
