West Ranch (10-2) vs. Temecula Valley (10-2)

High School Football

Friday 7 p.m., Temecula Valley High School

The Wildcats look to carry the momentum of an emotional comeback win at home in front of a unified home crowd onto the road as they travel more than 100 miles to face Temecula Valley. The West Ranch offense was firing on all cylinders last week, as quarterback Walker Eget threw for seven touchdowns. With a win, West Ranch would advance to the Division 7 CIF Championship for the first time in the history of the program.

COC (8-2) vs. Saddleback (9-1)

Football

Saturday 6 p.m., Cougar Stadium

Canyons earned a share of the conference title with a win over Bakersfield to close out the season last Saturday and now has a chance to avenge their week-one loss to Saddleback in the opening round of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Southern California Regional Playoffs. The game is slated to feature a tribute to the victims of the Saugus High shooting and is free to attend for all students and staff from the William S. Hart Union High School District, and all SCV first responders (with ID).

Master’s (12-5-3) vs. Truett McConnell (18-2)

Women’s Soccer

Friday 8 a.m., West Palm Beach, FL

After an earlier-than-expected exit from their conference tournament, the Mustangs were elated to receive the news of their at-large bid to the NAIA tournament. They now have a chance to make their own destiny in the playoffs. A win over Truett McConnell University would mean a matchup with two seed and host school Keiser University (19-1).

  1. Why do you not have the CiF Cross Country Final listed as there are at least 3 local schools competing including the Saugus High teams ?
