Art, I’ve known the victim in question for 25 years and can assure you that he is a fine man, husband and father, and so much more than what you, in your obvious ignorance, have directed at him. He is an experienced and frequent hiker, and a capable navigator, who in this case, unfortunately, suffered serious injuries and required medical evacuation. You’ll be pleased to learn that such services have been established to respond to public emergencies of precisely this sort. A kindly-intended suggestion, Art: You may want to consider constructively addressing the void in your life that leaves you with nothing better to do than to put on public display the psychopathy evidenced by your comment. Get outside more. And do so with the confidence that emergency services will be available should even you be visited by misfortune.
