Santa Clarita Minor Airlifted From Central Park Due To Reported Medical Emergency

A Santa Clarita minor was airlifted to the hospital Tuesday afternoon due to a reported medical emergency.

Around 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, emergency responders received reports of a medical emergency near the intersection of Garzota and Vista Delgado Drives in Santa Clarita, according to Henry Narvaez, a spokesperson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“We were dispatched at 12:13 to a reported sick person,” Narvaez said. Due to the location of the initial call, a helicopter was asked to come over to pick up the patient and transport them to the hospital in a shorter amount of time.”

The minor was transported from a residential community in Valencia to Central Park by ambulance where they were airlifted to the hospital by an awaiting helicopter.

The condition of the patient  remains unknown as of 1 p.m.
