Two children were airlifted to the hospital Monday evening after possibly nearly drowning then going into pediatric arrest north of Santa Clarita.
At around 7:30 p.m. Monday, first responders received reports of two cases of pediatric cardiac arrest in Lake Hughes related to a possible drowning, according to Supervisor Michael Pittman with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“There was a possible near drowning in the 43000 block of North Lake Hughes Road in Lake Hughes,” Pittman said.

An airlift was made at around 8 p.m., according to fire officials.
The children’s exact condition is unknown at this time.
The ages of the two children are unconfirmed as of Monday.
