Pilar Schiavo To Host Santa Clarita Emergency Workshop

When an emergency or natural disaster unfolds it is easier to navigate when you are prepared, which is why in June an emergency workshop is set to be hosted in our Santa Clarita Valley.

Assemblywoman Pilar Schiavo, D-Chatsworth, is set to host an emergency preparedness workshop on Saturday, June 10 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to help families get ready for the next emergency or natural disaster.

The session is set to feature free talks on protection from fires, earthquakes, floods and other disasters as well as a Q&A with emergency response professionals.

Everyone must take precautions to keep safe before, during, and after calamities or disasters in order to be prepared, according to officials.

You can keep your family safer and contribute to the safety of emergency responders by allocating the time and resources necessary to be prepared at home, officials said.

The location of the event is 21545 Centre Pointe Parkway in Santa Clarita, California 91350.

Schiavo represents the 40th Assembly District, which encompasses the Santa Clarita Valley and a portion of the northern San Fernando Valley.

  1. The emergency she needs to address is California’s $32 billion deficit spending on leftist sound and feel good liberal-retard tax increase driving runaway socialist spending. But she is detached from fiscal reality like all Donkey POX-ers.
    Just say NO!

  2. Liberal retard? Really?

    • Yep. Deficit spending to the tune of $32 Billion, and Navin Gruesome has deficits planned for the next two years. That is how the USSR imploded. Liberal spending on leftist fantasies without paying the bill is LIBERAL-RETARDED danger to all California TAXPAYERS.
