  1. So glad we moved this past weekend out of the area.

    • The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

Where doesn’t the power fail once in a while?

      • Just talked to a friend today that lives near Vons in Canyon Country. Their power went out due to SCE’s planned power outages for wind events right before they started Thanksgiving cooking. From noon to 9pm and it wasn’t even that bad of wind during that time. We live in an area where the Tick Fire destroyed our neighbors homes, so truly no rhyme and reason to outages. Lived in 4 states and this is really the first time we’ve had to deal with power issues. 3rd world problems in a 1st world wealthy state.

  2. This says all but 18 have been restored? my entire complex alone that has 24 units has no power still and neither does my entire street snd its 12:15pm Thursday rn.

  3. When is the power going to be restored???

  4. When is the power being restored

  5. From shadow pines area , since 9:30 am until now, there’s no power

  6. I just moved to the area, knowing that planned power outages happen because of santa ana winds. I’m at this news site to see how long the outages last for, so that I can plan ahead. So far my plan is to get a Bluetti 2,400 watt x hour battery backup, which should be good for 5 hours of led floor lamps, TV, internet and computer. Then back that up with a Wen 2,000 watt gas generator that is rated at 51 db at 23 feet, which is not as loud as someone talking. should be able to keep me going for a few days without power.
