A Santa Clarita power outage affected over 300 residents Wednesday after a car hit a pole.
Around 9 a.m. a car hit a pole near Whites Canyon Road and Steinway Street in Canyon Country, said Ben Gallagher, a spokesperson for Southern California Edison, (SCE).
Crews had to de-energize power in the surrounding area to fix the pole, according to Gallagher.
About 335 customers were affected by the Canyon Country power outage, according to officials.
As of 9:40 a.m., it was unknown when power would be restored to the area.

I remember old times Christmas Tree lights. When one light went out all the lights went out.
I guess they do not have a on off switch on every street light, so if one goes out everybody loses power.
